Events and Activities
Members with their families and friends, are invited to the many activities which celebrate special events including American and Australian State days and holidays, e.g. Australia Day, Coral Sea Week, 4th July, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
Other informal activities are held throughout the year and include opportunities to meet visiting diplomats and business leaders as well as extending hospitality to visiting American groups (military, cultural, social & sporting).
The Association welcomes new American residents and visitors who are invited to social functions and are offered in-home hospitality and assistence with transition issues and understanding the Australian culture.

2 May - Coral Sea Memorial Service
The 68th Anniversary Coral Sea Commemoration Service was held at The Remembrance Columns in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens on Sunday 2nd of May 2010.
The simple service lasted about 50 minutes and included the laying of
wreaths by The American, Australian Federal and State Gouvernment
representatives, the Armed Services, Service Organizations and other
interested parties.
Our Patron, His Excellency Rear Admiral Kevin
Scarce AC CSC RANR, Governor of South Australia accepted our
invitation to lay a wreath and gave a heartfelt Commemoration Address.
